Chef Walk – Wednesday, March 12. The popular Chef Walk& Demo is back for another year. Join the best Chefs in Solvang as they make their weekly trip through the Solvang Farmer’s Market! Past Chefs have included David Ceccini of Cecco’s Ristorante, Master Chef Norbert Schulz of the Mirabelle Inn, and Chef Heather Rae Hovey of Hadsten House. Stay tuned for 2014’s Line-up.
Sweets & Swing – Friday, March 14 7:00pm-9:00pm. Dessert is taken very seriously in Solvang; with a Village full of Chocolatiers, and Bakers it is hard not to. The extremely popular Dessert Reception is back with a new name, Sweets& Swing, with over 20 different confections for your sweet, sampling delight! Take a break from your culinary pursuits at Taste of Solvang and get out for a stroll in the Village! Get to know our Wineries, Breweries, and Wine Bars that specialize in locally made boutique wines and craft beer. The Solvang Wine & Beer Walk is one of Taste of Solvangs most beloved events, and a great way to discover new spots you’ll love! Farm to Fork with Chef Budi – Saturday, March 15 6:00pm-9:00pm. Spend an intimate evening dining family style, as the incomparable Chef Budi Kazali takes you through a four course wine paired dinner utilizing ingredients sourced only from Solvang’s local producers! Chef Budi Kazali, is the owner of the gorgeous Ballard Inn, and host of The Inn Crowd. His cuisine has been featured in publications including Food and Wine, The Wine Spectator, and Central Coast Magazine. Chef Kazali is locally and nationally known for his culinary prowess.
