That is according to the Danish Foreign Ministry and to make sure that Danish companies get the full advantage, the Trade Council has launched growth initiatives related to export, investments and innovation in the US. Meanwhile the EU and US are negotiating a trade agreement that aims to remove trade barriers, stimulate investment and support jobs and economic growth on both sides of the Atlantic. On August 22 in Copenhagen, Danish American Business Forum hosted a roundtable so members could engage directly with the Minister, along with US Ambassador to Denmark, Mr. Rufus Gifford, and Danish Ambassador to the US, Peter Taksøe-Jensen. They voiced their perspectives of DK-US relations both in relation to Udenrigsministeriet’s concrete growth initiatives and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) agreement.
