Historic Danish Church, built in 1880, housed the oldest organized congregation in the United States. Under direction of the Sheffield Historical Society, the church was preserved to the 1880-1890 period. Today it is a non-functional church, but can be used for funerals, weddings, and christenings. Sheffield Historical Museum staff will provide tours for a nominal fee. A special Danish Christmas Service is held each year.
